Fabulous shop. They have all you could want. Best health food I've been in. Recommended. I am the lady who bought up all your turmeric!

What an interesting little shop. Packed with quirky environmentally goods from around the world. Dont think I've ever seen anything like it in the past. Well worth a visit on a cold foggy day in Berwick. Possibly the best shop in town.

Love this place a healthy alternative to all the ultra processed rubbish were bombarded with on a daily basis

A shop that expands as you enter and see the cavernous back areas of goodies. A good selection of interesting wines

I popped in here yesterday for a couple of headbands for my fiancé, it's hands down my favourite eco shop. Sadly I don't live nearby, but it's well worth a detour. The range is fantastic, the prices are very reasonable compared to similar shops and the products are of really good quality. The staff are, of course, wonderful and the two ladies who served me yesterday were just lovely and super helpful. I really recommend this shop.

The Green Shop is a rare treasure. It is everything you want ethically, from a service perspective and from what I understand 8n the way it treats its staff too. I try to use it as much as poss. It should be a destination for green tourists as well as locals

Lots of green things to buy from food to hygiene, clothing to beer and gifts to innovative green living. I get all my bar soaps, feminine hygiene (very good all natural range), toiletries, unusual flours for cooking and baking, organic nuts and dried fruits from here including gifts and my monthly treat. The staff are incredibly friendly and extremely helpful, usually if they don't have it they will find a way to get it for you. They also give you ideas of how to use ingredients and items in different ways. They are always looking to help the environment and have recently started hoppers with oats etc bought by weight and you can take your own containers in with you. The shop is jam packed full of everything and I suggest you set aside some time the first visit you make. I still find new things. And the hemp peanut butter is lovely. Not to mention the excellent range of chocolate. Definitely the place to visit if you want to reduce your footprint and get new ideas. Wholeheartedly recommend The Green Shop and its staff.

We first discovered this lovely shop whilst on holiday in 2018. We loved it so much that we called in on our way up to Scotland May 2019. I’m vegan & my husband vegetarian so we’re spoilt for choice - a rare thing. As well as food, toiletries & household goods, the shop stocks lovely, clothes & gifts. I really wish we had such a fantastic shop somewhere a bit nearer to home (WAKEFIELD)

Lovely friendly shop with a wide range of 'green' goodies from clothing, food and eco-friendly laundry detergents to pottery and jewellery; I haven't covered the half of it. Had a chat too about the delights of the Borders but we don't really want too many people to know. Will definitely visit again.
