Basic brewery tap with restricted opening hours (Saturday and occasional Wednesdays) so check before you visit. We tried Daylight & the Fool both very drinkable and good value at £3.80/pint. Very busy but we squished in next to the friendly locals and stopped for a couple of pints. Well worth a visit

Absolutely amazing small local microbrewery. Make sure it's open before you visit (Saturday and first Wednesday of each month). Fabulous home brewed beer and a really friendly brewer who is happy to chat and engage in bants. We walked a canny distance to explore the brewery but it was absolutely worth it ... on a side note if it's a Wednesday try the Chorizo and Chilli sausage roll, it's amazing for £2!.
100% recommended if you are anywhere near by on a Saturday (or 1st Wednesday), great bear (sic.) and wonderful atmosphere too. Buy a tee shirt .. you know it makes sense.

Absolute gem of a place. Awesome beers and lovely friendly guys who run it. Open every Saturday and 1st Wednesday of the month. No visit to Berwick is complete without a visit.

Random find exploring Berwick & Spittal. Great beer, we had a 10%'er but sadly not much time to stay for more. Alongside the tap room there's a cake shop and a pie shop. Great to have a pie with that 10%.

Fantastic nano-brewery specialising in oak aged beers. Smooth beers with a range of standard hoppy beers as well as a couple of sours and an incredible imperial stout. We'll definitely be back again!

A lovely Saturday afternoon drinking excellent Bear Claw beers in the sunshine. Great vibe and delicious food from the cakery next door.

Great beers, great crowd, great atmosphere and love the sausage rolls. We travel 150 mile round trip once a month to enjoy a day out at Bear Claw. Hang on in there - can't wait for reopen - not long now!

Intimate surroundings with the beer barrels right on top of you and the beer sold by the bloke who runs the brewery and does all the work himself! Seems a really nice bloke
and the beer is excellent too. Only a small choice on tap and in bottles for sale but they are quality and we'll worth a visit if it is open when you are around.
