Great location overlooking the river and easy walk to restaurants and shops. Nicely decorated and lovely wood burning stove. Will stay again.

Beautiful location beautiful accommodation

Made to feel very welcome! Great location for our train into the Edinburgh fringe festival with the kids. The owners are very helpful with tips on where to grab your shopping and where to go out etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Alnwick Castle is close too - a brilliant day or two out!

Loved our stay in the cottage. Very nicely decorated and super cosy with the wood burner. Great location by the river but also very handy for town. Fantastic beach walks nearby too. Helpful and friendly host. Would stay again.

Do not book this property arrived on 3 Sept having sent a cheque for £350 to be told by elderly male owner I don't remember you booking you can't use it after much discussion memory returned and money given back went into property to use toilet and thank god we had our money back its a tip not registered with local authority or tourist board to whom I have reported him to lesson to be learnt check if property is registered small wonder no review for five years you have been warned
