Lovely one night stay at the Cowrie Guest House on Friday 12th July. Ian and Ruth are great friendly hosts. The attention to detail in our room is so appreciated and thoughtful. So cosy, bed really comfortable, complimentary drinks tray and water in our room, soft towels and lovely hand and shower products to use. Second time we stayed here and each time was wonderful. Comfy beds, and we got a good night's sleep each night. Really good breakfasts. Ian and Ruth are very nice and accommodating with our cumbersome luggage. We love the area and will likely be booking again

Lovely big room with en-suite shower. Breakfast cheerfully served. Refills for the room refreshments promptly provided. Glorious double bed I would LOVE to know where it came from! As for the aromatherapy spray - I still haven't quite got it spot on. 😉

Fabulous. Lovely hosts, friendly and helpful. Rooms are lovely, clean and with beautiful artwork on walls. Fab choice of breakfasts. Fantastic value, great central location, would highly recommend.

What a wonderful b&b! The owners had gone the extra mile with a beautiful room, homemade room spray, homemade jam selection for breakfast and a really tasty Scottish breakfast. Ian & Ruth are a lovely couple and excellent hoists. There B&B is homely and spotless everywhere. I especially like the little bottle milk they provided in the fridge outside your bedroom door much better than them plastic things. A lovely fresh breakfast with lots of choice. Highly Recommend. Extremely impressed by this Guest House. The hosts were so kind and helpful, and clearly take pride in the house. It was immaculate and well decorated and a lot of thought was put into every detail. We were very comfortable here. Amazing breakfast too! The house is also well situated. We highly recommend it.

Comfortable bed, high ceilings, thoughtful touches and friendly, hospitable hosts at this guest house minutes from the station. Top marks especially for the breakfast - perfect portions of almost anything you could want.

We stayed two nights at Cowrie guest house, the room was bright, airy and spotless clean as was the en suite. The host was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. He made us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was cooked fresh and delicious also locally sourced meat and coffee. The coffee was so good we went and bought some to take home. I would like to thank Ian for making our stay such a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Cowrie guesthouse on our tour of the North last week. Generous sized room and en-suite bathroom with a great shower. Comfy beds ( we had the family room) and shutters on windows ensured great nights sleep for all. Delicious breakfasts - we had traditional and then the Special- yummy! All was clean and welcoming and the hosts were all very friendly including our helpful waitress! A great location for exploring Berwick and the local area. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning!
